PI Service User

Hello,

I am doing a File to File scenario using SAP PI.

I have to read an input file on FTP server, and write the output file on ECD directory.

My basis guy does not recommend to give access for writing te file directly ECD directory.

So he has mapped P drive on PI system, to the directory ECD system. That way PI is able to communicate fluently.

When I execute the scenario, I land in error, saying the Target directory does not exit.

FYI, I am using the Transport protocol NFS at receiving communication channel.

I am not sure where is the problem?

I also what to know which PI service user is involved to communicate to the PI system, to write the file to the directory.

Can you provide some suggestions. Greatly appreciate your help.

I have asked my basis guy to give the authirization. I will come back if I land on any issues.

Hi Chillal,

You ask your basis guys to have permissions for PI OS users for the ECD directory they have created. I think they created a shared drive and asking you to write. But for this also they have to give for PI OS users. Usually there would be an user <SID>ADM. So ask them to give permissions. Also when you specify the directory name specify with
