Printing is not working from SAP

Hi Experts,

User is not able to print from SAP System.The problem is whenever user is tried to print 15 invoices at a time ,it is printing 1 invoice for 5 times and other invoices are not printed.This is not for one user and it is for all users from that location.

This is also specific to only that printer

The user is able to print all the invoices from desktop from the same printer and the issue persists here from SAP application level

Hi,

Try to print from your priter server directly

May be issue with priter drivers at server side

Hi Experts,

The user is able to print from the desktop to the same printer and there is no problem,where as when the user is trying to print from SAP to the same printer ,the problem is occurring as when the user prints 15 invoices at a time ,it prints only first invoice 5 times .

And you are printing to a print server? I would assume the problem is there.

It's very difficult to help you with just that few information.

Printing from "desktop" usually uses a different mechanism than the SAP system, you most likely use a Windows shared printer or a locally connected printer which is different.

What OS is your print server running?

And you can print more than one document from the HP-UX printer itself? Any information in the logs?

check hp unix queue with lpstat queuename. Is there anything waiting for printing? Also you can try to configure additional printer queue for the same printer and give a go.
