TREX 7.0 TX_AIX_PPC64 Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

Hi,

Could you let me know if the TREX 7.0 release TX_AIX_PPC64 as the name suggests a 64-bit or a 32-bit software?

In PAM, only for AIX 6.1 it is mentioned "This 64 Bit OS is supported with 32 Bit binaries running in compatilbility mode"

Did they miss out similar update against AIX 5.3?

Hi Senthil,

TREX 7.0 32 bit binaries run in compatible mode with AIX 6.1 not with AIX 5.3

Hi Senthil,

TREX 7.0 32 bit you can run on AIX 5.3 but you will not be able to run in compatible mode.

Is the TX_AIX_PPC64 which SAP has uploaded in the download area a 32-bit or 64-bit binary ?

In download area on SMP TREX software that is present under AIX is 32 bit binary.
