Hi All,
I'm working on our EP 5 to EP 6 migration project. I have created a collaboration room in the EP 6 environment. I have included several collaboration room parts to this room. I can access the room just fine as myself (username = spaldst), however when I try as someone else (username = rubinmd), I get errors. The errors that I get show up under 'Detail Navigation'. The errors look like this:
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView :
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms/10a1ade9-1dbc-2810-17af-9eaf51d135e5/workset/10a1ade9-1dbc-2810-17af-9eaf51d135e5_RoomPartInstance~101/com.sap.netweaver.coll.Announcements/relatedItems/DynamicNavigation/com.sap.netweaver.coll.ARoomQuickLaunch
Component Name : null
Page could not create the iView.
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
I found the following error at the bottom of the most recently updated trace log:
#1.5#00145E2B8C4200430000054000000F3C000412D02F24C934#1146585260339#com.sap.ip.collaboration.room.impl.navigation.CollaborationConnector#sap.com/irj#com.sap.ip.collaboration.room.impl.navigation.CollaborationConnector.getNode:

That looks related to the problem that I'm having, but I'm not sure what it's trying to tell me.
The user that gets the errors is just a regular user...no specific portal authorizations.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this?
Thanks!

Hi Stephen,
I assume that a super admin user does not get these error messages, right? If so, this behaviour might come due to missing permissions on PCD objects for the user rubinmd. Please apply note 792370 which explains how to set end user permission on the pcd folder com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms
Kind regards,
Roland

Yes, you are correct. That is exactly what I had to do. In fact, shortly after that, I also had to do the same thing to the 'CM Search' iview.
Thanks!
