Incompletion procedure for Item

Hi.

In item level(Additional Data A & Additional Data B)

fields VBAP-MVGR1(Material Group1)

VBAP-MVGR2(Material Group2)

i need these fields mandatory ie. SO should not be saved.

So in item category TAN(Incomplete proc 20) i added these fields &

In Order Doc type ZOR1(Incomplete procedure 11) i added these fields

& In Assignment ZOR1-11 i ticked Incompletion LOG check box..

Is this right procedure???

Hi Amol Tamhane,

what you are doing is the right procedure,in addition to that i would like to add that u have to use Screen as "PGRU" for MVGR1 and "PZKU" for MVGR2 while configuring incompletion logs.

Yes..u r right..but for that no need to maintain these fields into header incompletion log also... as u said

In Order Doc type ZOR1(Incomplete procedure 11) i added these fields

Just in VOV8 for ur sales dco.type mark the field Incopmletion messages under Transaction flow ..this setting is good enough to achieve ur task...

Thats ok..But it doesn't make any sense that material grp data can be maintained only at item levels..not in header..

Since u cannot find any data like material grp in Header level...and if u maintain them there will be no difference as well..
