No user SAP*

Hi All,

I have to make a remote client copy of PRD server on sandbox, I have created new client in SCC4 as 400 and assigned logical system, when i try to login through SAP* with Password "PASS", its showing no user or password is incorrest.

I have checked in table T000, client 400 exist but when i checked in table usr02 no such user SAP*,

select * from sapsr3.usr02 where bname='SAP*' and mandt='400' - no rows selected

checked the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=1.

our is SAPSR3, with oracle 10.2 on HP-UX.

me tried for the same process.

after parameter setting, restart, reset SAP* query,... did you try to unlock and commit ?

Hi

for older versions of SAP it was SAP<SID> and SAPR3. The schema of the newer versions are SAPSR3.

What is you SAP version

Hi All,

Thnx for reply, i have tried by changing the parmeter value to 0, and restarted R3, but the same problem.

Maybe some other other reason.

check the parameter again... I have the same issue before but tried 2nd time it's works..!

Yes parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=1 should be 0 then only you can login with sap* and pass

Hello

Set the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0

Restart the system. Create the client again and try.
