Hi
Thank you Shravanan.
I have another question. In the mast head, I want to include comapny's branding image, instead of the ones provided by SAP. Could you tell me where to upload the images (which folder) and could I do it through portal with admin rights.
Thank you and your help is appreciated

Hi Priya,
You can put the images in the image folder of the project. But make sure in referring the correct path and take care on the image size.
Check these threads to get more idea.

In case of theme editor, it is jus a change in the URL path of image.
Hope it helps.

Hi Priya,
The "Personalize" option can be changed in the headeriView_nls.properties available in the private/classes folder of the project. You need to edit the PERSONALIZE_TEXT=Personalize to PERSONALIZE_TEXT= My Profile.
I ven't tried it. But this could be the way to do it. Get back if you get any issues.

Hi Saravanan
thank you very much..
I need to customize the masthead, and I never did this before. I downloaded the com.sap.website.navigation.masthead.par file and uploaded it in NWDS. From the threads you sent suggest me that I need to include the Lib file inside the PortalINF folder before uploading the par file.... I hope I am right....
If you also could tell me how to remove the Collapse try and the options menu that appears on the top of the iView...it would be great...
thanks,
Priya

Hi Priya,
The correct par file is "com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par ".
Unzip the par file and get the Jar files available in it. Upload the par file in NWDS. jus put those jar files in the lib folder of your project.
You can also customise the masthead by creating a new theme. That would be the simpler way. If you are interested in removing the collapse and option icon ,theme editor is the easiest way. For removing the tray, Ranjith's suggestion will work.
Hope it helps.

Hi Priya,
I believe, Creating a customised portal theme is the easiest way of modifying the masthead. Check this thread of how to create a desktop and assigning it to users.
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/thread?threadID=139215&messageID=1557763
And check this for removing collapse icon.
