Conversion of CCM Catalog to MDM catalogu2026

Currently, we are using CCM catalogs but we are working to convert this in to MDM.

Anyone worked on this scenario?

I never worked on CCM catalogs but I think we can extract Catalog data from CCM then load it to SRM-MDM repository.

Is this method everyone is following?. If yes, I believe there will be export data options in CCM so that we can extract the catalog data in to txt or excel files so that we can use these files to load data into MDM repository.

Is there any other way to convert catalog data from CCM to MDM?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

There is no export functionality in SAP CCM as it is assumed you already have the data contained in the Supplier Catalogs in either CSV 2.0 or XML format. Only possibility in standard to export from CCM is the schema but not content.

Once you have these csv or xml files they can be used to load into the SRM-MDM catalog in any case.

What I understand is, we can't download the Catalog data from CCM?. If I am wrong just let me know.

Hi Mike,

Thats correct, there is no download function for catalog data in SAP CCM.
