Halo Experts
I have the following scenario to be mapped in SAP.
I have 3 company codes. X - manufactures, Y -sales the finished goods manufactured by X , Z - delivers the finished goods to customers on behalf of Y and charges the the delivery costs..
How do I Map it, My point is there are no plants for company code Y & Z , how do I maintain materials for theses two Company codes? Do I have to maintain virtual plants for handling the finished goods? Which process would be more suitable for my requirements?
Customers needs 3 company codes and we can not change that one as they wish to use the Z company code as a logistics provider and independent of others.
Regards
Samuel

Hi,
How abt X and Y as intercompany. Z as vendor for transportation.
Cheers.

Mini thanks for the response
Company code Y raises a contract for one year and every month PO to company code X for supply of materials. Z is used as a transportation vendor only.
MY question is should I have virtual plants for the company code Y & Z for handling the finished goods materials. Ware houses are owned by the company code Z only ( the transportation vendor).
regards
samuel
