Hi everyone,
I'd like to know where workbooks are saved in SAP BW system (phisically). Is there any backup? My college deleted a query and whole workbook disapeared. Is this normal?
Regards,
JN
Hi
Workbooks always been stored inside a Role.
If you user don't have access to any Role then also any query result from Bex Analyzer
can be stored inside Favourites.
Followings are the SAP tables which will let you know about Worbook storage in SAP BW:
RSRWBINDEX List of binary large objects (Excel workbooks)
RSRWBINDEXT Titles of binary objects (Excel workbooks)
RSRWBSTORE Storage for binary large objects (Excel workbooks)
RSRWBTEMPLATE Assignment of Excel workbooks as personal templates
RSRWORKBOOK u2018Where-used listu2019 for reports in workbooks

Hi,
Usually whatever you see in the Tools are A versions of the objects. You will have respective D version for those objects.
You can install that D version to get the A versions which you can able to access through BEx tools.
If you have the D versions for those objects (workbooks),you will make it available by installing it under RSOR Tcode
