ERM 5.3 - Issue with Transaction/Object/Field Sync background job

Hi everyone, I am struggling to run the Transaction/Object/Field Sync job in our ERM 5.3 system. Here is a excerpt of the job history:

29 7/16/09 3:15:08 PM Running Synchronization of transaction information for Danish and connector Q60_100 started

29 7/16/09 3:15:17 PM Error Error synchronizing transaction information for Danish and connector Q60_100: -492

29 7/16/09 3:15:17 PM Running Synchronization of transaction information for German and connector Q60_100 started

29 7/16/09 3:15:27 PM Error Error synchronizing transaction information for German and connector Q60_100: -492

This pattern repeats for all languages (including English).

Any ideas as to what is going on?

Please log a message with SAP Support under the component GRC-SAC-SRE as this issue has already been reported there and is with dev. team.

Hello Ryan,

Though it does not seem like connection issue but go through SAP NOte 1250568 and see if it helps.

Hi Ryan,

Please check if you are getting any error like below in the logs.

"statement is closed at the index 501 Transaction ID"

If yes, then this issue was fixed in SP08. Please check the SAP note: 1168183.
