Currently, we have ECC 5.0 Oracle 9.2.0.7 on HPUX 11.11 PA-RISC. I need to upgrade oracle to 10g.
When I start the ./RUNINSTALLER, the Product-Specific Prerequisite fails because the following OS
patches are not there:
PHSS_32508
PHSS_32509
PHSS_32510
These are patchs for the products HP aC++, C-ANSI-C and other compilers.
I don't have any of these installed at present. Question is: Are any of these compilers required for oracle 10g? Do I need HP aC++ or C-ANSI-C or aCC or Fortran 77 compilers installed in order to upgrade from
oracle 9i (9.2.0.7) to 10g (10.2.0.4)?
What happened to your notes search capability??
SAP note 1004290 has the answer for your question.
regards,
Lars
