Navigational attributes

Hello,

I added a new navigational attribute to a cube.

I can see that the attribute has values in it (which are suitable to the values of the related infoObject) but when i try to use it in the cube it is empty.

Please advice,

Hi David,

Is your this infoobject is a masterdata

if so then you need to activate that master data.

Activate the Master data and also run Attriute Hierarchy Change run.

Hi David,

to activate the master data right click on the InfoObject in AWB and select "Activate Master Data".

Right click on the infoobject in RSD1 and choose activate.

Hi david ,

you can also do one thing you go to infosource of that masterdata.rightclick on that here you will see one option bottom to third Activate master data.

Hi

Hope you did the check mark in the navigational attribute tab in the cube. Then after loading the data into the object ..just right click on the master data object and say activate the master data.
