Enabling pass through authentication on 7.1

Hi All,

I'm trying to enable pass through authentication in SAP IDM 7.1 version. I want to use AD/LDAP as authentication source instead of UME ( the 7.1 docs says it can be done with UME)

I dont see any way of enabling it for AD or LDAP.

Sunil,

From the IdM standpoint it's fairly simple - just assign the ume role idm_authenticated to the user in the portal and set the idm authentication method to Windows Authentication in the workflow tab of the identity center.

If there is anything else that needs to be done in the Portal I'm not sure about it, you could check with your BASIS team on that.
