Changes in template

Hi All:

We are being asked by a client to make some template level changes in browser UI for shopping cart for better shopping experience.Any pointers on how this would affect the performance of the product. Is it true that SAP does not encourage too many template level changes?

Hi,

Yes,...Template changes are required majorly for change of UI....But according to me it is quite safe to enhance the templates for minor changes like change of text,removal of buttons etc on screen...always take a backup of the std templates you are modfiying.

Hello All,

My question is related to sub thread , Hence picking the same.

It's said SAP does not support the ITS template changes because it will be over written in upgrade.

So has SAP provided any provided any standard workaround for changes required by business?

e.g For influencing BBPSC02 we have BADI_SC_UI_MODIFY

but for BBP_BID_INV we do not have business add ins

Please share your comments and experinces.

Hi,

To modify the Bid invitation screens or any othe screens in SRM,you can use the badi "BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI".
