May I know if I can run NWDS as a non-administrator?

Do you mean logging into NWDI in NWDS as a non adminstrator?
If so, one must have NWDI Developer role to develop and NWDI Administrator role assigned to perform transports in CMS .

I mean NWDS where S=Studio
Was referring to the Eclipse-based IDE, not the NWDI.
Basically I want to install NWDS on a PC but I want the developer to run NWDS as a non-administrator of the PC.
All that one need to run application in NWDS is the SDM password to deploy the applications .
who ever know the SDM password can simply install NWDS on thier PC , deploy and run applications.

Sorry, should have made myself clear.
I am talking about the administrator of the PC, which is a Windows OS in my environment.
When I say administrator of the PC, I mean specifically the Administrator user account or a user in the Administrators group of the Windows PC.
you do not need any authentication to use NWDS.
any one who has the software installed cna work on it.
