Backup Problem

Dear Team,

When I am running backup via DB13 in my harddisk.It not running and give log.

BR0051I BRBACKUP 7.00 (18)

BR0055I Start of database backup: bebaktyp.and 2009-07-16 14.12.03

BR0071E BRBACKUP currently running or was killed

BR0072I Please delete file D:\oracle\IDE\sapbackup\.lock.brb if BRBACKUP was killed

BR0073E Setting of BRBACKUP lock failed

BR0056I End of database backup: bebaktyp.and 2009-07-16 14.12.03

BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2009-07-16 14.12.04

BR0054I BRBACKUP terminated with errors

How I solved this problem. what is this problem ?

This means that a previus BRBACKUP was killed and a lock was placed to prevent problems... check the last logs and simply delete the lock file D:\oracle\IDE\sapbackup\.lock.brb and you'll be able to run BRBACKUP again

other possibility, BRBACKUP is still running and you need to wait or kill it. then, delete the lock file if it still exists.
