at least give us some time
Check this SAP note on JDBC:
https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/831162
Q28 anwers your issue
From the note:
This timeout value will define the maximum waiting time to get the connection from resource pool. If connection is not available
within this time, we return the message to Messaging System and the message is in retry mode.

> Hi Abhishek, Sorry for hurry thanks for your response, is there any chance that this option will control the process ,once timeline has reaced will the CC will stop the process

The message will go into retry state.....when the max retries, of the CC, has been reached the message will be termed as errored (if not wrong it will be cancelled with errors)......good option to use when you have many JDBC receive CCs accessing the same DB.....
So answer is yes this parameter will control the process and the process will be stopped once the limit is reached
Regards,
Abhishek.
