Doubts Regarding FI Extraction

Hello Experts,

I have few doubts regarding FI extraction.

What is the Difference Between FISL, FI/AR and AP in terms Extraction?

What is Summary Table in FISL( t-code BW01)?

For FISL we need to generate the data source using t-code ( BW01 and BW03)please correct me if i am wrong.

for AR and AP do we have SAP Delivered Data source or we need to follow the same process as FISL ?

FI/AR and AP are time-stamp based standard extractors while the FI-SL is ALE pointer based application specific extractor.

In FI-SL , you can either pull the line item data or the summary data . The FI-SL line item extraction is delta enabled and you generally pulled the totals data in FI-SL as snapshots as it was on an aggregated level. However, the TOTALS FI-SL extraction has also been Delta enabled now.

You need to generate the datsource for FI-SL by going into SBIW and "Application-Specific datsources" .

The AP/AR datasources on the other hand will need to be only activated and you do not need to generate the datasource from scratch.
