filter query inth alv report

Hi Gurus,

I have query regarding the filter in alv report. In the ALV output report when filter the material no it is not filtering but it is showing the blank , but the output contains the values. If i filter other values like netvalue it is filter in order.

Please help me...

Hi,

This is because the material may have precceding zeros.For this in fieldcatlogue make the field right justified

wa_fieldcat-just = 'R'.

and while filter write the value with precceding zeros (if the material no is 1234 and the material field length is 8 then while filtering pass the value as 00001234)
