Hello Gurus,

I should install a citrix server between our sap router and our sap hosts.

Is the service connector still needed ?

Thankse for your replies,

Eric Jamin

I don't really understand your question... can you describe your scenario in detail?.

In any case to open the connection via SAP Marketplace service connector is a requirement.

Hello Juan,

Thank you for your answer.

Well in the "traditionnal" scenario, the saprouter walldrof connects trough our saprouter to our sap system.

I should install a citrix server between our saprouter and our sap system for security reasons (banking system). The SAP support will have acces to our sap system via citrix.

Hope this help making the question more clear.

Kind regards,

Eric Jamin

I can see where you are coming from now.... basically if you are not going to open the system for R/3 Support but for WTS/Citrix and they'll logon via SAPLogon in Citrix then you still need system connector as the router should open the ports for WTS (i think is port 3389)
