I have to trigger a function module for a particular follow up action with the following requirement:
1) Deactivate Equipment and Maintenance-Plan
2) set Deletion flag for Equipment and Maintenance -Plan
How can I do this and where in the system will the above changes made (after coding) will be visible? How can i check for these cases?

Dear Vasuki
To deactivate equipment you can set deletion flag to equipment.
You have to set the object status of the equipment as I0076 .
If you need to do this in the transaction level goto IE02 > Go to Menu Button Equipment > Function >deletion flag > set
You can check inthe status for equipment deletion set. once this is done maintenance plan will be deactive automatically
