SRM 7.0 Notification is not working

Hi Experts,

Shopping cart is sent for approval and rejected by the manager. However the requestor does not receive notification of the rejected SC.

Step Define Recipient of notification is configured.

Event APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_REJECTED is available as standard

Sub category of event APPROVAL_RESULT_NOTIFIC_NEW is also maintained in the Event Schema/ Even control.

User master is maintained with Email id and Auto forwarding is also defined.

When the SC is rejected, the background task TS40007983 is completed and the description says

The document XXXXXXX of type BUS2121 was rejected.

Technical information:

Event:#APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_REJECTED

SubCat:#APPROVAL_RESULT_NOTIFIC_NEW

However there is no notification in the inbox of the requestor.

Masa,

The event schmea for the transaction type was not maintained. Having maintained the same the notification is triggering.

Thanks for the reply. The maintained (standard settings) transaction type for Object BUS2121 is EXTR and SHC.

Hi,

Please check the transaction type has event schema.

SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application basic Settings -> Define Transaction Types.
