Hi all,
We have SRM 4.0, server 5.0 as a version.
There is requirement to have SUS for direct materials as well as indirect. Procurement for both is being handled in two different systems ERP & SRM EBP.
Hence questions -
Can SRM 4.0 (basically SUS) will handle two back end systems as below from technical point of view?
MM - SUS scenario for Direct materials
EBP - SUS scenario for Indirect Materials and Services
or
DO I need 2 different clients (i.e. one for MM - SUS and EBP - SUS)?
Thanks in advance,
Hi Sunil,
What you are looking for for is technical scenario 'Decoupled' (apart from regular classis or Ex-classic).
Yes it is possible.
It is preferred that direct matl will be procured via ERP where as indirect matl will be procured via EBP.
See the SRM IMG path ->SRM->SRM server->Sourcing->Define sourcing for product catergries.
The Information to SUS will be carried by messages from ERP/EBP.
BR
Dinesh
