Hi,
I am working with Supply Chain in a retail company. I have basic SAP working experience as my day to day work includes working with SAP MM Module. I want to increase my expertise and aim to give SCM certification i.e. C_TSCM44_05 i.e. Solution Consultant SCM - Planning in SAP SCM?
I am currently going through the books recommended on the SAP site: SCM200, SCM210, SCM220, SCM230, SCM240 and SCM250.
My Question:
1. Do i need to read out some other material apart from the before mentioned books?
2. Can a beginner like me clear the certification by reading and practicing the concepts in the above mentioned books? Or one needs to have some experience as a mandate for clearing the certification.
I am new to SAP world. Any other suggestions/advices for preparation for the certification would be of much help.
Thanks for your feedback.
Regards,
Rohit
Hi Rohit,
1) As you are new to SAP world, I would suggest do not immediately
get into all modules at a stretch. SCM has various modules like
DP, SNP, GATP, PPDS, SNC, EWM etc., etc.,
2) You can make use of help.sap.com
3) Learn the basics of supply chain management
4) Then choose the topic of your own interest.
This will help.

Hi Rohit,
As far as certificate is concern those SCM books are more than enough. You won't get any question outside book.
