Is it possible to send alerts from UDF?

Its like I have to generate email alert based on the value in the payload.

Yes,you can send alerts from UDF.

Hey

Yes,i m talking about this blog.

you dont necessarily need to get an error message to trigger a e-mail,you basically need to call the Function module SALERT_CREATE,which you can call by checking value in payload.

In blog he is using in an exception handler,you can call it by comparing value,its one and the same thing.
