path to upgrade R/3 4.7 to ECC6 dual stack

We have a requirement that is to upgrade an Enterprise (i.e. R/3 4.7) to ECC6.0 (ABAP+JAVA).

My plan is to upgrade 4.7 to ECC6.0 ABAP, then install the Java stack as an add-on.

Because I do not have the SMP ID at this moment(roll off), I cannot verify.

Would you please confirm my plan?

Hi ,

Please go ahead to upgrade the ABAP 4.7 and then when it is on Ecc6 install the Java Instance on it.

I would suggest you to go with sync ABAP+JAVA upgrade

Because I do not have the SMP ID at this moment(roll off), I cannot verify

Once you get your S id just follow the guide which clearly mention the step by step procedure

I will recommend to go through upgrade Master guide for ECC 6.0. This has all scenarios and recommended way to do it.
