CIF not updating the custom field 'No longer available' from SAP R/3 to APO

Hello All,

We have a custom field 'No longer available' in material master in SAP R/3.

Whenever we change the value for this field in R/3 and save, it is automatically updated in /sapapo/rrp3 in APO.

but for few materials this is not happening i.e whenever we are changing the value for the field 'no longer available' in R/3 and saving the same, it is not automatically updated in product master(/sapapo/rrp3) in APO.

Can you please let me know what might the reason behind the inconsistency??

Hi Gayitri,

First, please confirm that presently those products are there in your active integration model.

Thanks,

Hi Gayatri,

I hope you have activated the settings in SAP SCM that allow customizing to be imported from SAP ECC to SAP SCM. Otherwise you would have not get those transffered (change result) in APO for some product.

Try RIMODGEN and initial transfer (as suggested earlier), and let us know.

Thanks,

Satyajit

Hi Venu,

Check the material type is XO for those products which are not updated.

Check whether those objects are material dependent objects or material

independent objects,

Check all MRP views, basic data, are maintained properly for items which

are not transferred.

Hi Venu,

When you Generate and activate the Material integration model does the Customer specific field updates in APO? If this is a rare occurrence, try scheduling initial transfer through RIMODINI.

Another possible reason could be users locking the product master in /sapapo/mat1 when the data is saved in R/3. To avoid these situations, Master data changes are generally transferred Periodically using ALE pointers (nightly jobs).

Hope this helps.
