Transfer solution to SAP

Former Member

Dear All,

SAP has requested us to transfer our business solution in DSWP to them. We aleady are updating our system info into marketplace. I was told this could be done by DSWP -> Choose Solution -> Menu "Solution" -> Transfer

But this option is used to export the solution to be used into any other solution manager system through a transport request.

Even when I'm using it, it throws following error:

All batch processes are busy. Export the solution later

Can anyone please suggest how to go about it.

regards, Sean.

To update your system data to oss do the following:

Go to tx SMSY

Choose the system - tab "System Data in SAP Marketplace" - switch to change mode - synchronize.

This should update your data.

Thanks David but as I said we already are doing it.

I got a mail from SAP quality manager requesting complete "business solution" to be transferred into THEIR solution manager. Honestly I'm puzzled.

Any suggestions please.

regards, Sean.

Okay, I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I checked some stuff out:

Go to tx DSWP

in the left bar choose Solution Operation

Next Choose tab - Service Plan - SAP Delivered Services

Button => "Update Solution Master Data at SAP"

Please let me know if this is what you searched for.

Hi Sean,

I think you have to go to DSWP transaction -> Goto -> Data transfer configuration.

There you can select your solution and send the data to SAP.

I hope it could help you.

Tomas.

Thanks Tomas.

I already had set the option. But it doesn't actually send data. Just controls what has to be sent. But thanks anyways

Maybe SAP Note 914722 could be useful.

I've checke some documentation and after the steps I told you before, just as David typed, you have to go to Service Plan -> SAP delivered Services and register the solution at SAP.

Once you have done this, you have to:

1) Run program RDSWP_CONNECTION_CONFIG_SAPGUI with transaction SE38 ( you need authorization to run programs).

2) In the value help table you can search your solution or you can enter the number of your solution if you know it.

3) Mark u2018Send All Datau2019 and then execute.

That's all I have at documentation about transfering a solution to SAP.

Best Regards,

Tomas.
