The status Ping Error and Self-Test Status RED with the error 'Unable to login onto system XXXCLNT999 with XIRWBUSER' . These are SRM clients.

This is probably authorization problem, ie Role is not assigned for XIRWBUSER.
Just check this-

Make sure that SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN & SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER roles are assigned to the user.
