Hi
I have a problem with OS Monitoring tree in RZ20 wherein "Filesystems"
node is not visible and the error messages which I could see in log as
Error message
"ERROR: OS monitoring: Error-253 Can not create
Monitoring Object [Memory]. Different MO with same name exists within
same Monitoring Context. MO has to be unique in MC" appears in
sapccm4x.log.
I have gone through some of the sap notes and found these as workarounds
but nothing worked out for me.
Workaround 1
-
1) stop the SAPCCM4X agent for this instance
2) delete the AL* files (ALALERTS, ALMTTREE and ALPERFHI) in the
directory /usr/sap/B28/DVEBMGS01/log on OS level
3) start the sapccm4x again
> check the sapccm4x.log file for reported error messages
Workaround 2
-
1) Stop the SAPCCM4X agent for this instance
2) Deleted Operating System "Instance" Node completely using option 4.
3) Start the sapccm4x again
> check the sapccm4x.log file for reported error messages
I have added some of the information about sapccm4x and kernel patch
along with sapccm4x.log.

NOTE: With same kernel, sapccm4x patch levels, this part is working very
fine in our other 75 systemsaround.
