Hi,
I have installed SAP Netweaver WAS Java, when i try to access the portal logon page i get '404 - page not found' error.
I am trying to access the link http://localhost:50000/irj/portal
Alo, I dont find any folder by the name irj in the installation folders
Can you please tell if there are any post installation configurations to be done ??

the server was installed was AS JAVA only no EP installation was done... irj folder appeared after installing the EP along with AS JAVA

Cross check in NWA-->system information what all the sofware components installed in your system

R u sure your JAVA Engine is up and running ?

R u able to open http://<Hostname>:5<InstanceNumber>00/nwa
yes i am sure that the system is up and running.
I am able to access the NWA page but not the logon page
I also find that the irj folder is missing in the following location
usr\sap\EPY\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com
