Hi All,

InfoObject is defined with Type: Curr, Length: 17 & Decimals:2.

Dta in CSV file, has some +ve values & -ve values, and negitive values indicating with - sign like -1.484,41

in the infopackage, When i'm going for'preview' in the 'External' tab, Data is displaying like 12.170, but in CSV file it is 12.170,49. Where as, - ve values are displaying correctly as it is -1.484,41

Can anyone have idea, why the last two digits are truncating in the preview for +ve values ?

Thanks.

V

Hi V,

In the excel file select all the columns and chose the format as "general" or "text".

The other option is to open the ".csv" file in notepad and then edit.

Hi V,

Hope you have defined the correct "decimal separator" in the infopackage in the "external data" tab. Also check the format of the column in excel for that field.

Bye

Hi Dinesh,

Thanks for u r response.

Yes, problem is with the format. in .XLS, format is right aligned, but when saved as .CSV, format is getting changed, which is the cause of error.

I changed the format in CSV, but the format is not getting effected when saved.

Any suggesions.

Thanks

V

I think try changing the format of the column as Text in your CSV file if you have made other settings perfectly in the InfoPackage.
