Pls give guide lines how to do in SAP(whether it is possible or not in sap)

There are several work centres in a production line. There will be no stage wise confirmation. The production department inspects finished goods themselves & suppose they make 750 FG out of which they find 10 are having defects u2013 production will record stage wise defects in the 10 PCS. u2013 This has to be recorded in SAP. Quality will inspect the 10 defective pieces given by production & confirm the defect. The balance 740 PCS will also be inspected by QA. If ok u2013 to BSR u2013 if not ok - rework / segregation / dismantling & scrapping of defective child components only & finished goods should not scrap .

Hi

As per your scenarion there are two agencies who will inspect the material.

Production & Quality.

Activate 03 & 04 Inspection type.

03 will be having a routing with multiple operations eqaul to number of stages & sample size 10.

When prodcution release the prodcution order & 03 Inspection lot will be created( say 750 Qty).

Now production people will do Result recording & defect recording for 10Qty as per sample size.

They will submit the sample to Quality.

Now Quality will confirm it in 03 inspection type or after confirmation in 04 inspection type along with result recording.

(for 04 create a task list in QP01 with usage 1)

Advantage of both the agencies doing different RR & DR will be easy for analysis.

final approval & stock posting will bw by Quality.
