In a workbook in BEx Analyzer 3.5, under the Query Properties, there is a tab called 'Column Width'. On this tab, you have three options:
1. Do not adjust column width
2. Adjust to results area
3. Adjust to whole columns
How do you control the column width in this manner in a workbook in BEx Analyzer 7.0?
Thanks for the quick response. I tried switching the setting 'Apply Formatting' but it didn't have any effect on the column width. However, using your idea of Apply Formatting, I tried checking on/off 'AutoFit'.
If I check the check box for 'Autofit', it automatically adjusts the column width based on the data.
If I uncheck the check box for 'AutoFit', it does not adjust the column width.
thanks

Hi Ronald,
You can not specify the column width exactly in the same as in 3.5 version, but if you will swith your workbook in design mode and double click on table, you will find the option as apply formatting, which will adjust the column based on data. If you do not want column width to be adjusted automatically and keep your own formatting remove the check box.

Kams
