Possible ways to accessing object's documentation in ID

Hello,

could somebody help me with the way to read/change documentation of object in Integration Directory (not description but whole HTML documentation)? There are no any web-service, neither old 3.0/7.0 nor new 7.1.

I think there may be some java way but I haven't find it yet.

Direct access to database is not possible.

Hi Iliya,

Goto the object whose documentation you want to edit, ensure you are in EDIT mode. Goto Show/Hide Documentation (in the same row as Edit/Display button)

You will get documantation for that object on right hand side. To change documentation click on the Change Documantation

Both of Directory APIs (old and new) don't contain such web-service.

if no such service exist I could only imagine that it's maybe possible via the database tables:

SAP_<SID>DB.XI_REP* Repository objects

SAP_<SID>DB.XI_DIR* Directory objects
