Dear All:
I am getting following error during backing up database (online + redo) through BRTOOLS.
how to resolve this?????????
The error shows
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

FYI,
when I use shell prompth (suse) and I write the followg commend it asks me for password then after giving password it works fine
$ brtools -u system
BUT
when I write following only then it gives me said error.
$ brtools
consequenlty, in SAP application envt. DBACOCKPIT (BRTOOLS) it also gives user name / password error.
I guest there is a password assigned for BRTOOLS and such password is not assigned on SAP application envt. DBACOCKPIT (BRTOOLS) therefore it is making me problem.
kindly advice is there a plance where we assigned BRTOOLS >>> PASSWORD
