Dear

Thanks for coded these sap notes:

will be going throug.

FYI,

when I use shell prompth (suse) and I write the followg commend it asks me for password then after giving password it works fine

$ brtools -u system

BUT

when I write following only then it gives me said error.

$ brtools

consequenlty, in SAP application envt. DBACOCKPIT (BRTOOLS) it also gives user name / password error.

I guest there is a password assigned for BRTOOLS and such password is not assigned on SAP application envt. DBACOCKPIT (BRTOOLS) therefore it is making me problem.

kindly advice is there a plance where we assigned BRTOOLS >>> PASSWORD

regds,

AJ

Hi Asim,

Check SAP Note 651351 - BR tools on UNIX: Error due to executable permissions.

Thanks
