Hi,

You can yourself check whether your system is able to connect the storage server (server where your backup is usually stored). Run the following command in command prompt of the database server i.e in OS level not in sql

backint u2013p <Oracle_Home>\database\initBWD.utl u2013f password

"<Oracle_Home>\database" .--> this is the path where your util file initBWD.utl is stored.

After executing the above command it will ask for a password ( get the password for storage manager from BASIS pool member or if it is with you then fine.)

If error any return code other than 0 comes, please contact the backup team and also if possible paste the error in the forum for further analysis.

Thanks

backint -u BWD -f backup -i /oracle/BWD/sapbackup/.beaztcxf.lst -t file -p /oracle/BWD/102_64/dbs/initBWD.utl -c': 2

Looks like backint has returned error code 2. Did you check with netbackup team?

Hi Rajkum,

Please check the space in /oracle/BWD/sapreorg/ .

For more details please refer to the note 17163

If possible contact the supplier of the external backup program (the supplier

of interface program BACKINT)

Thanks

Debdeep
