Sneak Preview-EP very Slow

I installed NW EP SP3 after a long struggle. First of it is taking a very long time to get the log in page. Second when I give the username and password it takes for ever. After half an hour i get error page.Now when I try to get the log in page for the second time I get error page . I have to restart the j2ee engine each time to get the log in page.Is it the normal behavior? Please clarify.

Well, it's normal behavior if your system is not up to the job of running EP.

What are your system specifications? Do they meet the requirements?

Thanks for your response.I'm on win 2000 SP4

ram:2gb hd:60gb.My system meet all the hardware and software requirement.But I'm on sql server 2000 SP (dev)

is that a problem?
