Hi Team,

On one of our develipment server when trying to execute any of the function module using transaction SE37 & SE 38 the application hangs and just displays Hour Glass. This happens with any function module i select. I do nto get any error message displayed and no logs found in sm21 also.

The consultant has started facing this issue from today morning.

I have checked for any workprocess being used but i see all the workprocess are in waiting status.

Have someone come across such issue earlier.? Kindly advice as how to to proceed further.

System Details

ECC: 6.0

DB: SAL 2005

OS: Windows 2003

Thanks & Regards

Solman.

Hi Solman,

Check few things

1) In SQL tablespace always increase till disk available. Check disk space. Including TLOG storage destination.

2) R3trans u2013d is working.

3) Check if network is fine. ping host, ping other host. Use NETSTAT command to monitor hung processes

4) CPU utilization, is any other process running?

If you still facing problem down all applications and restart the windows.

Hi Suman,

Other consultants who are accessing this server from UK are able to access it fine.

we are able to access all other transactions fine except SE37 and SE38.

CPU utilization is fine and no other process is running currently.

As said by you if its a network related issue than it should cause server connectivity issues and other transactions should also have a problem.

Please Advise.

Thanks & Regards
