SAP connector for CAD Integration with Unigraphics (NX)

Could you please guide me on where can I download CAD Integration connector for Unigraphics (NX).

Hi,

I have installed ECTR connector,However I am not able to launch ECTR.

Its showing Sap logon failed,Could anybody please provide the settings which need to be done.

Hi,

have you customized the file ...\customize\config\saplogon.txt?

An entry should look like this:

sap.logon.ConnectionName6 = D14

sap.logon.Client6 = 100

sap.logon.Destination6 = D14

sap.logon.Hostname6 = d14.dsc.net

sap.logon.Sysnr6 = 01

sap.logon.GatewayService6 = 3301

sap.logon.SapGui6 = 0

If you still get errors, please send the logfiles to support (at) dscsag.com. The log files you will normally find in your %TEMP%\DSCSAG\...\log directory.

Thank you very much for the useful link Martin. Anyway, there are some things that I cannot find for NX Unigraphics integration:

In the wiki you can find

You can download the CAD-Integration-Software from http://service.sap.com/swdc and then goto

Installations and Upgrades > Supplementary Components for Cross Industry Solutions > Life-Cycle Data Management > SAP PLM Integrations > select the desired integration

But that path does not exist in SAP download software page.

Also, in the availability matrix I can find integration with several systems (catia, solid edge, autocad...) but not unigraphics.

Could you please provide some more information on the topic?

Hi,

sometimes the company you are working for needs special authorizations for being able to see the integration - you have to contact your SAP contact person inside your company for this.

UG Integration based on CAD Desktop is also mentioned on the Wiki page earlier.
