HOMOGENOUS SYSTEM COPY FROM PRODUCTION SERVER TO QUALITY SERVER

Dear All

I want to restore the production server data to quality system. We are using SAP 4.7 on Oracle, i want to restore it with online database backup and archive logs by using brtools.

Kindly send me the steps or the documentation to restore the whole system.

hi login with SIDADM user

type brtools

select 5 Retore & Recovery

complete database recovery for online backup

if u want to restore by archive log

choose Database point in time recovery option or option no. 6 restore and application of archive files.

HI Gagan,

You create the file system that will be suitable for your productiuon database.

Take a full online cinsistent backup of your production system and restore the this backup in your quality system using oracle tool or brtools.

After that create the controlfile for the new database and the ops$ users.
