automatic mode selection.

Dear Gurus,

there are 2 alternate sequences in ECC. while planning in APO even if the load is there on Standard sequence it is still scheduling for the standard sequence. but the alternate mode is free and it is not scheduling automatically in the alternate mode. is there any specific settings in DS Strategy that i have to do so that the planning run schedules in the alternate sequence automatically.

Hi Vinay,

If you are running heuristics, it default loads the standard mode and will not choose the

alternative mode.

If you need to load your alternative mode automatically, put high mode priority

in the PDM/PDS master data and run the planning run. It will now do as per your

requirements.
