Problem in VL31N

Dear QM Expert,

My user requirement is inspection in against inbound delivery (vl31n), For fulfill this requirement i change configuration,

Assign inspection type in material master(01)

Assign Inspection Lot Origin (01) to Delivery Type.

and Assign Inspection Type to Delivery Category,

I create inspection plan of this material.

I create a Purchase order then i want to create inbound delivery (vl31n) then below error message show.

"Changes not possible at present because item is in quality inspection"

I already see this SAP Note (770067) but its related to Sales & Distribution.

Please provide the best solution.

Generally inbound delivery in done for imported materials.

PO is placed on vendor >material comes>inbound delivery>GR>Inspection lot

U want inspection lot between inbound delivery and GR, if this lot is rejected then GR should not be possible.

For this u can use source inspection, for material, plant and vendor combination create quality info record.In this activated source inspection. Also activate NO GR functionality.

When PO is created 1 source inspection lot can be activated. If this lot is ok then GR can be created but if this inspection lot is rejected then then GR is not possible.

plz. revert for any clarification.

My Dear,

I have already use source inspection for vendor premises inspection therefore user required that Purchase requistion--> purchase order > inbound delivery> quality inspection-->goods receipt.

Please suggest me what i configure system or send me any note.

What is the movement type you are using for inbound delivery
