System / Client refresh

Hello,

I have been asked to refresh our sandbox from production. I would like to know how to proceed in my particular scenario:

Our sandbox is on Enhancement Pack 4. Production is on Enhancement pack 3.

Can I do a client copy from the production client to a new client in sandbox? If so, how?

If I do a system copy using the production backup, it will remove all the enhancement pack 4 data in the sandbox system.

So what can I do to keep the sandbox in Enhancement pack 4 level, and yet have the latest data from the production?

Hi,

This is a standard way, what Rishi said. You need to do system copy from production, then

Apply EHP4.

Hi,

You cannot Perform the Remote Client Copy as your two system are at different patch level.

System Copy is possible but you shall loose the EHP4.Simple was is to have the backup of Sandbox( in case your system copy fails you can restore from Backup your Sandbox).then Do system Copy of Sandbox from Production and then you can go again on EHP4 from EHP3 on Sandbox.

This Is the only way that you can have the Production Data on Sandbox and you will cme on Ehp4.
