Has anyone used the new ZendFramework as yet. It is still in preview state at the moment, but it has potential. I have read that the goal of the framework is to create robust components to speed-up application development. I have just downloaded version 0.13 of Framework myself and it already has the following database, PDF, logging, search, Mime and XMLRPC components. I hope to have a play with it over the couple of weeks on my dev box.
However with the launch of a Framework supported by Zend. This framework is an ideal candidate for a SAP component. This is sure to be a framework with some longevity and support. I have been using Mojavi for quite a while but development has stopped and a new fork has appeared which has kinda put me off. I'm sure this will not happen to this framework.
Has anyone else had this idea, or had any experience with the framework.

If I come up with anything of value I will post here. The fact that SAP ventures have an interest in Zend, I thought that something may already be underway to provide a SAP component for the framework.

Great to see you back here Jason! I hope your "play" will produce some code samples and you can feature some of your experiments with the ZendFramework here on SDN in blogs or forum postings.
