Role Create button is Gray

Hi Everybody,

While creating the Project Role, after entering all the required values, while entering "Create" button is in the gray mode only.

So it is not allowing me to create another role.

Please suggest to the steps.

As a first feeling what I getting is that check you PFCG role. You should have the Project Management rights. If you have

PFCG Project Management role, then check the role created in cProject configuration. Attach you as project manager role.

Hi Shashi ,

I am running the this process in IDES only.

As per my knowledge, for the standard system rights might not be the priority one.

Please correct me, if I am wrong.

Hi

There could be two problems

1 You system is not havig WFM and you have not disabled it.

2 No project role types are created or assigned for your project type. If you have then may be remove WFM Checkbox for the role type

Restart the Browser and check again

your doubt is exactly right. I am getting the same message as"WFM is not activated"

Please help me for further process where it has to be done.

Have you unchecked WFM Checkbox in SPRO>cProjects>Resource management>Basic Settings for Project Roles>Basic Settings for Project Roles

Else Check this note 1039443 based on version you are on

Also if you are on IDES there is a Note i dont remember the no but that deactivates the WFM Problem

Alternately ask Basis to maintain WFM Settings such as Live Cache activation and so on
