Vendor Replication Problem

Hi Guru,

I found that, vendor master data replication could be done by transaction BD14 (in R/3) or BBPGETVD (in SRM), my problem is, whtat's the different usage for these two transactions? When do I couldo use BD14, and when do I could use BBPGETVD?

Hi Jack

MM-SUS scenario , you have to replicate the vendor using the transaction BD14 in the R/3 system

ECC to SRM - BBPGETVD - tcode helps toreplicate vendor from ecc to srm system.

I want to know why we must use bd14 to copy the vendors.In my case(MM-SUS) ,I use BBPGETVD .I do not find the differ .And the system works well.So I have a little puzzle.

Hi Jack

in MM we do create a reduce message CREMAS for supplier data and send it to SUS system via XI and vendors receive email with registration id ,password and URL.this information helps our vendor to logon to SUS url. here general supplier data.

but in SRM we pull the vendor via BBPGETVD .here we pull procurement data for purchasing.
