hello,

Alt Calculation type - Here you are asking the system to do the calculations as per the alt calc types prog, e.g. if 16 (rounding) is used against cond type DIFF, and if your net amount of a sales order is coming to 160.32 INR then the system will round it off to 160 INR and the DIFF cond type will show 0.32 INR.

for better solution, pl mention ur problem in depth. u will get better response from other consultants as well.

Hi

Alternative Calculation type means, the value of the condition will not be calculated through the condition technique, rather calculated through a formula.

This formula is written in ABAP codes and saved as a routine. The commonly required requirements are already available in standard.

If you want to create new one then explain the business requirement to your ABAPer so that he can write the program.

The taxes are calcualted through these formulas specified in the "Alt. calculation type" field.

Even the "Profit margin" is laos calculated through the formula.

The profit margin for different material will be different, therefore you can not store a fixed value, rather it is determined through a formula 11 in the Pricing procedure.

In this formula 11, it has been written ( selling price - cost = profit ) in programing language.

This is the duty of ABAP Consultant , so based on the Bussiness requirement in pricing you have to write the alt condition type with the help of ABAPer , for this you need to explain the requirement and logic to ABAPer. for further info you can check in fourm.
