The system is giving me the following error

"An error occurred when connecting to the accounting system"

An error occurred when connecting to the accounting system

Message no. DPR_FIN_GECCO001

Diagnosis

A connection to the Accounting system could not be made. Possible causes are:

The system is not available

The RFC destination for the Accounting system is incorrectly defined in Customizing.

System Response

The system could not read data from the Accounting system. The system cannot distribute project data to the Accounting system.

Procedure

In transaction SM59 check the RFC destination defined for the Accounting system.

Check whether you defined the correct RFC destination for the object type. See Customizing for Collaboration Projects under --> --> .

I have maintained the following RFC destination for the object type.

for object type : 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS

Proxy class: CL_DPR_OLR3_WBSELEMENT

destination: NONE

webserver: ITS_ALIAS

can anypne tell me what needs to be done in order to solve this problem (Points Guaranteed!! )

You can try setting an RFC to your own system and declaring it as the destination for the accounting object.

Are you on ECC 6, if you are using Distributed system landscape then may be you need to create RFC for acccounting System

Also check if you have maintained Project Profile for PS: CPR0001

THis is std for Autoreplication

I hope you have done other config like

1 Create and Change Controlling Scenario

2 Define Controlling Scenario

3 Settings for Easy Cost Planning

and so on
